ABOUT DR. SHAW
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University in 1973, Dr. Shaw received his D.M.D. from the University of Oregon Dental School in 1977. He undertook an optional one-year general practice residency at Denver General Hospital in Denver, Colorado and then completed his orthodontic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University two years later. Dr. Shaw has proudly served the residents of North Snohomish County in his private practice since 1980.
Dr. Shaw stays abreast of the latest advances in dentistry and orthodontics as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Washington State Dental Association, Snohomish County Dental Association, Washington State Association of Orthodontists and the Northwest Orthodontist Study Club.
Dr. Shaw and his wife, Jana, have three children, Kristen, Scott and Clayton. They are a sports-loving family with interests in tennis, golfing, snow and water skiing, fishing, biking and boating. Dr. Shaw has remained an active baseball fan since his own pitching days playing for Stanford University and the San Diego Padres organization.
